Homemade hamburger buns

I know the picture doesn’t really look like them, but I made homemade hamburger buns the other week.  And I thought they turned out really good!  I used the recipe found on this site.

The best sugar cookie recipe

Try this recipe…it’s finger lickin’ good.  (Well, at the least the frosting is…that’s all she ever eats.)

This is the best sugar cookie recipe…at least if you like your sugar cookies soft like I do.  And this recipe doesn’t have to be refrigerated before cooking.

Sugar Cookies
1 c sugar
1/2 c milk
1 egg
1/2 c margarine (room temp)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
3 c flour

Combine sugar, milk, egg, and margarine.  Mix well.  Add baking soda, cream of tartar, and flour.  Add more flour if dough is sticky.  When dough is not sticky, turn out onto lightly flour surface and roll out to approximately 1/4-1/2 inch thickness.  Cut out with your favorite cookie cutter.  Then bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes.

Then for the frosting, I use Wilton’s Buttercream frosting recipe.
